1986 Bar Admission in Stuttgart after successfully completing his law studies at the University of Tübingen and traineeship in Stuttgart

1989 first foreign lawyer admitted to register at the Bar of Bologna, Italy

1993 after many years in Germany and Italy Jan Schneider founded his first law firm in Modena, Italy and thereafter stayed in Modena until the year 1998
